this has a 50% chance of being bait, but i do think it's funny whenever someone's dystopia is clearly just their fetish. like that time jordan peterson posted medfet porn and labelled it with scaremongering about the CCP

Doth protest to specifically is absolutely a red flag

I feel like over the past few years how we used bait has changed. I would call this satire or a joke, not bait. I'm not saying you're wrong for calling it possible bait, but it's just interesting. Or maybe the average conservative is just that bad that bait targeting them doubles as satire for me.

Bait or 'bate?

[–] tonytins@pawb.social 1 points 1 hour ago

Bait or not, it was wroth the share.

He's just sad that those women in latex and high heels aren't men in latex and high heels

Hopefully not an open pit mine, they're terrible for the environment. But otherwise, yes, and I would absolutely wish it on my worst enemy. GDP would go through the roof until the novelty of BDSM in the workplace wore off. xD

I'd hate to be called a liberal, but if it gets me to that camp I guess I'll accept it

Just remember: It’s always projection.

[–] tonytins@pawb.social 4 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

I keep thinking, "what's going through his mind?" The entire time.

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 3 points 4 hours ago

Right? I mean, the libs would be fine if such an event like this were to happen safely and consensually, limited to the willing. But the artist thinks, what…? Paints a picture of non-consensual mass bondage? How the heck would that even work?

[–] theuniqueone@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 5 hours ago

Keep your fetish out of politics keep it in the bedroom.

I don't get the whole masochism thing. Like I like a hot powerful woman in skimpy shiny clothes and boots, that I won't argue.

But getting hurt, well, hurts.

[–] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 hour ago

Pain releases endorphins. It isn't for everybody, though. If you don't get it, then it isn't for you. There are tons and tons of fetishes out there that most of us aren't going to understand.

[–] djsoren19@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

It's because you have a healthier brain. some of us have our wires crossed in such a way that a lil bit of getting hurt actually feels sexy. Most masochism isn't getting full-on tortured though, a lot of it is more sharp, quick pains like smacks or whips or bites. Obv there are more extreme cases, and you can kinda think of those as the wires getting really crossed.

[–] zarkanian@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 hour ago

There isn't anything unhealthy about it as long as you indulge it in a healthy way.

Spicy hot food is also painful. Does that mean that people who enjoy eating habaneros, Scotch bonnet, etc. have unhealthy brains?

Wait. On second thought, don't answer that.

[–] Icytrees@sh.itjust.works 4 points 5 hours ago

I hope they're futas.

This better not awaken anything in me

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 2 points 2 hours ago

Too late for some of us. Something awoke in us.
