@cm0002 kind of a ridiculous question when you look at the data.

The two teams in the World Series were both in the top four in terms of payroll. Half of the playoff teams were in the top eight. This is out of thirty, of course.

Until there's a salary cap, this criticism is always going to be there, and it'll be deserved.

The Dodgers aren't breaking the rules. But the rules need to be changed. Could any team legally sign a player to a $700M contract with most of that deferred so they can then hand out a $325M contract to another player? Sure. But small-market teams can't afford to. That's wrong. 🤷🏻‍♂️
