China didn't take direct action on Taiwan when Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden were Presidents. But of course it's Trump who is keeping them from doing something.

Meaning that he will absolutely take Taiwan and Trump will just rollover and let it happen. So much for "strongman leader". Trump's a gigantic pussy.
Alas, time to short some TSMC stock.
Xi will invade Taiwan when the opportunity comes up, when the US/West is distracted elsewhere with another war. Trump is trying to start one with Venezuela and Columbia as we speak, and Russia is tiptoeing the line trying to see how far they can push NATO with drone incursions, sabotage etc before Europe finally bites back. It seems like the exact opposite is true here, Xi will attack Taiwan while Trump is in office.
And Nigeria.
Direct action against Taiwan is unlikely. There's no scenario where an invasion happens and the chip manufacturing stays intact. What is likely is China invades elsewhere with increased influence over Taiwan as a goal.
I'll bet money that China attacks Taiwan before 2030 because that is unilaterally what they have said for fucking decades.
I have no doubt the rising tensions in the south China sea are them aligning to make good on this continued promise.
I'd bet money it happens before trump is out of office. Id bet it's before fucking November 2028.
A lot of American and Taiwanese analysts have long thrown out dates like the 100th anniversary of the founding of the PLA (2027), but I haven't seen anything official about a "before 2030" timeline. Where did you see that?
