All US benefits are the same - evil unless a specific conservative person needs them, then they are justified - see abortion, divorce, SNAP, welfare, healthcare, government loans, tax exemptions, etc.

The article you sent does not say that anyone can do it with 15 min. of training. It speaks of different levels of activity in different parts of the brain in an MRI scan. I myself do not have an MD, but I'm pretty sure reading an MRI to look at brain activity takes a little bit more effort.
I may have misinterpreted your previous message a bit as well, but as I understood it you implied that the way your amygdala is determines your political leanings. The article says it may be the other way around, like with London cab drivers having their brains change as they study the layout of the city. I'm sorry if I misunderstood you there.

I know most people aren't aware of it, but its not some super rare phenomena that only a single article has been written about it, and that article contains everything.
That's fundamental though, that applies to almost every time someone says something they know, then finds a relevant article off the first page of a search engine.
I didn't go thru my comment line by line and source every comment with an article that backs up everything I said.

People seemingly have forgotten that at one point Vance would say "I never supported trumps policies. I never liked trump as a person. I'm a never trump guy."

Wow shocking, there's tons of farmers who get millions of dollars from the government and vote against anyone else having any sort of assistance available to them, so this kind of rural bullshittery has been around quite a while.

There was a federal court ruling subsequent to the publication of the submitted article, so they should be moving, albeit with some delay. It's not clear whether they will be paid in full for the month, though.

The payments appeared set to stop at the beginning of November, as the shutdown has stretched into a new week. But federal judges in Massachusetts and Rhode Island ruled Oct. 31 that the U.S. Department of Agriculture needs to use $5.25 billion in contingency funds to make at least partial payments.
Both judges said the Trump administration has the option to use certain discretionary money to provide the benefits in full for November. They gave the administration a limited number of days to provide an update on what it's doing.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Sunday that President Donald Trump wants to hear from the courts about how to legally move money around to fund SNAP payments, but he noted during an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" that it "could" flow by Wednesday.
"There's a process that has to be followed," Bessent said. "So, we've got to figure out what the process is."
The Cabinet secretary also told the outlet that the Trump administration will not appeal the rulings.
