My mom told me about my older brother actually eating one of those. Well... he didn't die (escape the simulation), that's for sure.

"What do you mean capitalism also exists in the real world? Are you sure we don't need to eat more silica gel packets? How deep does this shit go?!"
How deep does this shit go?!
At the very least to The Thirteenth Floor
There is no more coffee, but there is...

No! That's not fair... that's just not fair!
Ate a pack as a kid, parents flipped and took me to poison control. They just said don't do it again and we went home. If I escaped the simulation I want to go back.
It's apparently just a choking hazard rather than toxic.
Silicon gel is just Silicon Dioxide in an amorphous structure that allows water to fill the voids. So basically its just water absorbing sand.
Sometimes it is doped with chemicals to indicate humidity, which is very toxic.
There's enough of the stuff in a pack that may be enough to hurt you by drying your throat and carrying stomach acid around.
Should feel like a bad digestive issue, for a short time.
Just to add, there's a lot of processed foods that have it.
Now prepare to eat nothing but white goo and be hunted by machines
Sounds like ten years from now tops.
So nothing changed?
Please note eating these small packets of silica gel poses no risk to your health at all. Actually silica gel is used as a food additive and can be as high as 5% in the EU and 2% in the US.
The reason for the "Do not eat" warnings is because it's a choking hazard, nothing more, nothing less.
Wow, rare that the US gives more of a fuck about its citizens than the EU
lol factor in the rest of the food regulations and that story is very, very, very different.
Does ripping the tag off of a mattress work too?
Once you remove the tag the ancient protection seal is broken. Without it the monster that lives under your bed is now allowed on your bed. The monster doesn't eat you or anything. The monster likes to warm it's cold feet on your back and steal all the covers, so it's a terrible sleeping partner.
Can't tell if electrodes or his head is steaming.
