New conspiracy theory: Vance had Charlie killed in order to take his wife

[–] Jax@sh.itjust.works 43 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

The more I learn about Erica Kirk, the more I think she had him killed or at the very least was in on it.

[–] Socsa@sh.itjust.works 24 points 2 days ago (4 children)

She literally spent a good portion of her eulogy talking about how wives are not supposed to be slaves. You can't make this shit up.

JD had Kirk killed because he rivaled him for the job of supreme ruler of america

[–] moakley@lemmy.world 65 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Everyone is jumping to infidelity, but it's pretty clear they're just trying replace Kirk with Vance as the leader of TPUSA.

[–] BreakerSwitch@lemmy.world 23 points 2 days ago (5 children)

Wut. He's the vice president why would he want to he want to be the head of some no name org?

[–] JcbAzPx@lemmy.world 56 points 2 days ago (3 children)

They're trying (vainly) to craft Vance into the next maga messiah for when Trump dies.

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 20 points 2 days ago (1 children)

No way that mealy mouthed couch fucker comes close to Trump. I have never understood the Cheeto Banditos appeal but to deny it exists to a large population is ludicrous.

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 16 points 2 days ago (2 children)

His appeal is a crass businessman who tells it like it is, just another low class white asshole except he was born lucky and cheated his way to the top. American Joe wants to have a beer with Trump. They believe he's bold enough to shake it up and fix the economy.

Vance doesn't have it at all. He's there because he's younger than Biden. Zero charisma in comparison.

[–] Olhonestjim@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago

Vance is VP because he is no threat whatsoever to Trump. He's no threat because he has no ability, intelligence, or charisma, and he's already bent the knee.

Never seen someone so happy to have a dead husband.

[–] the_riviera_kid@lemmy.world 118 points 3 days ago

If you were married to that dipshit you'd be happy too.

I see similarities too. JD Vance is a piece of shit.

[–] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 121 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I'd feel bad for her, but her choice of husband prevents it.

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 65 points 3 days ago (2 children)

well that and all the actions she's taken both before and after his death

This woman was Miss Arizona? Damn, Arizona basic af.

[–] TammyTobacco@sh.itjust.works 42 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (5 children)

The hottest person from Arizona is still from Arizona. It's like an iguana beauty pageant.

Or the types of people that run those types of pageant have a type.

Your comment reminds me of this self-proclaimed trashbag from Arizona:

[–] MousePotatoDoesStuff@lemmy.world 66 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Is this the sanctity of marriage and traditional values or whatever the Religious Right is claiming to protect?

[–] RustySharp@programming.dev 42 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ah, you mean the sanctity being championed by their three-times-married dear leader?

Christians use 2 Corinthians 2:14 as an excuse for divorce "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols?" To divorce and remarry is biblically considered adultery; but Erika is a widow, and if Usha won't convert JD gets a free pass on divorce, and Christians will just excuse it as the righteous thing for JD to do.

Am I supposed to feel pity now for the woman that willingly married that piece of shit?

This is all staged melodrama. It's so fucking obviously scripted to distract that it's shameful the Internet and media are even attempting to sell it as some risque genuine drama.

I hope every day is the worst day ever for these people

[–] JimVanDeventer@lemmy.world 30 points 2 days ago

As if she went into this blind. Conservatives know what kind of people conservatives are; they just try to tell us it is something else that is not deranged.

[–] ryedaft@sh.itjust.works 41 points 3 days ago (9 children)

This is so fucking gross and please don't think it's what I think but:

An Asian wife is great if you're a VC in silicon valley but what if you want to be president?

[–] GreenShimada@lemmy.world 25 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Except that she's getting pushed to convert now as the result of this. So, typical GOP tactic, make an insane comparison and then use the halfway point to force others to move the direction you want.

[–] Bytemeister@lemmy.world 27 points 2 days ago (3 children)

I think Vance is publicly making the push so that when she doesn't convert, he can say that their religious differences became incompatible. He gets to marry Ms. Arizona, she gets to be the second lady, and Usha somehow gets the blame for not being faithful to her husband.

What's the party of family values saying about this?

To paint a clearer picture, remember when Biden stepped down and Kamala took over his candidacy? You know, the thing that's already had a precedent set and are the rules for our democracy?

Member how Conservatives have cried and bitched and moaned about Kamala apparently being 'annointed' undemocratically?

Let me ask again: what is the party of family values saying about this? Because it sure as fuck seems like blatant hypocrisy to me. Again.
