OP can I recommend Star Trek: Lower Decks as your gateway … to the onscreen franchise. A logical place to start.

I've also never seen Star Wars, GOT, or any Marvel/DC movies. I kinda just exist inside my own little bubble. Honestly I don't even know what's popular anymore lol

How do you manage to go through life without watching a single episode of Trek? It has numerous seasons and spinoffs, and it is constantly in syndication. Do you avoid broadcast TV in entirety?
