Whenever I say things like "no, yeah" it's usually responding to both parts of the proceeding sentence like "this programming library isn't great, we should switch to something else" to which you could reply "no, yeah that sounds good".

I didn't actually realise this was a Canadian thing lol

I grew up in Buffalo, and whenever I'd go across the border it'd take probably a few hours to adjust. xD
