Just finished the seasons slow horses. Great as always. Gary oldman is just fantastic.

Still calling "the lowdown" the best thing on right now. A neo noir detective type show. Every week he taggs along with a new person, enters their world, usually gets beat up, and pulls another thread of the mystery. 10/10 watch this one.

Just finished binging tf out of "brassic" A British comedy/dramedy that's very well done. 7 complete seasons to sink into. If you're trying it out give it a few episodes to find it's feet.

I've been dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety so I'm sticking with conform shows:

  • Great British Bake Off - the new season is on par with past ones, but nothing really stands out
  • Derry Girls - my mom, who is Irish Catholic, has been visiting and has never seen it
  • Forged in Fire - just started a full rewatch. It's fun to see how much things have changed over 10 seasons

The new season of The Diplomat is pretty great. If you're not familiar, the show is like a cynical West Wing but where the main characters are good cynical instead of evil cynical (as in House of Cards).

I also just watched the new season of the Diplomat and really enjoyed it.

I think somewhere between West Wing and House of Cards is about right. Plus I'm always happy to see West Wing alumni on any show.

In the way of West Wing I do wish it were longer with some more lower stakes episodes. For example in season 3 we get a small time jump, it would have been nice to instead get a few slower episodes showing us what happened.

I enjoyed the first season. I’ll have to check this one out.

I just stopped watching Stranger Things during the 3rd season, maybe episode 3 or 4..? My brain couldn't handle the writing and crazy story any more.

Now I'm watching Voyagers! which is like a Quantum Leap like show. Also watched an episode or 2 of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. And I almost always seem to watch an episode or 2 of some Star Trek show, and am almost at the end of DS9 now.

Started “Talamasca”. So far it’s a fun watch.

Mainly started watching the Lazarus Effect. It’s decent so far. I’m still in season 1.
