If they extend their light rail, then that makes sense. Battery buses have come a long way. However ordering new buses, than having a bad contractor for the wiring seems a bit stupid to end it all over that.

It does make me wonder what the contract was like, if they couldn't claim against the contractor who installed faulty wiring.

"the newly installed overhead network turned out to be faulty and poorly assembled by a contractor with no trolleybus experience"... so the buses (Solaris Trollinos with Škoda electrics) are fine, but they got cowboys in to do the knitting?

When you don't have experience you get it by doing it - fixing your mistakes. Why are the contractors not fixing their mistakes - the job isn't done until it works right.
