What is Inktober?

Inktober is an annual month-long event when a prompt word will be posted for each day of October.

What is Inktober 52?

Inktober 52 is what happens during the months that aren't October. A new prompt will be posted once a week (typically Thursdays.)

How do I join in?

Simply draw by hand something based on or inspired by the prompt word. It can be inked traditionally (on paper,) or with a digital "ink" brush. The drawing can be anything from a simple doodle to an elaborate illustration. The color of the ink is negotiable.

Along with the orangutan at the front this gives some Discworld vibes.

Ah yes, the pine cone grenade spell - a reliable go-to for any mysterious maiar 👍

Awesome negative space with this one - it creates such a distinct and visually-pleasing silhouette, which is especially helpful in a collage-type composition like this one! :)

Thanks! When I finish, I'll have to decide whether I ought to leave the background blank or fill it in with something. I'm leaning towards blank, the negative space is nice and adds visual relief. It's a very busy page after all.
