I went to an exhibition of his work in London years ago. Seeing the art in person was amazing, of course. But also seeing the original books that he wrote the poems in by hand and illustrated was a whole other level for me. Nothing else has given me the "this should be in a museum and I would choose that but this would be incredible to own" feeling (if that's how people put it). This guy will always be one of my favourites

William Blake is one of the few artists/ people who has strongly influenced and just rewired my brain.

I started off enjoying the written word mostly but came to a deep appreciation for his visual art too.

Shoutout to his wife as well!
