The fall weather has been beautiful here, but I'm not at all prepared for the time change in November.

The leaves have been very nice here but the drought is causing the change to happen early. I think overall it's expected to be less vibrant than normal, but it's still beautiful.

For those not following along (I don't blame you), the Shaving Data System has been updated to allow automatically posting to PieFed/Lemmy!

For now it requires a PieFed account (until I figure out the Lemmy API which is likely exactly the same).

One of the steps in the automation is reaching out to PieFed daily to find out the post ID of the current SOTD thread, which makes sure your comment goes to the right place. The Free Talk Friday post broke that logic today, but it should be an easy fix once I'm back at my computer.
