5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions. If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.

6) No US Politics.

We're a small tight knit community. We see the same names everywhere. I'm sure many of you have been recognised by strangers before.

What is your claim to Lemmy fame.

I highly doubt i would be recognized by anyone in any meaningful capacity. To draw attention and get internet clout you need to be a hyperactive poster, a mod for an active community, or engage in a little politics/drama otherwise nobody notices nobody cares. Im just some guy who says things and post whatever.

“Now, we got a nice quiet little beach community here, and I aim to keep it nice and quiet.”

I'll be honest, I rarely look at names unless I read a comment that says something about OPs name.

I remember you, you bastard. You released the bats on my moths 🤬

[–] galoisghost@aussie.zone 5 points 2 weeks ago

LOL. I made an impact on someone at least.

And I’d do it again!

@SnokenKeekaGuard@lemmy.dbzer0.com for posting great art!

@cm0002@lemmy.world and @PugJesus@lemmy.world for pointing out the Tankie shit happening on Lemmy. They both also contribute a lot to the rest of the Threadiverse.

It would be so much easier for me if you said “post what other lemmings are known for”. Shout out to bonesofthemoon who shares poems they like. It’s something I want to post more of my self. One of the many comms I would contribute to if I had more time! 😭

You do would-you-rathers sometimes.

I'm not sure if people recognise me, although I post enough someone could. I suspect I'm known on my even smaller home instance, at least.

I don't because I mostly lurk and go silent a lot

Probably nothing. To be fair I was using a different account before lemm.ee shutdown, so this account is relatively new.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple hexbear people recognize my username since I’ve argued with some of them repeatedly lol
