I get recognized a lot because of my huge wang. That and my humility, I'd say.

I'm here in the meager effort to create some joy, because I am utterly overwhelmed by the awful.

I make a new account every thousand comments or so specifically because I don’t want internet fame. But if I didn’t, I’d probably be recognized as that guy who says what he thinks even when he knows it won’t be popular. Then again, I filter content so aggressively to avoid threads where I’d be tempted to share those unpopular opinions that maybe I wouldn’t get recognized that much after all.

Not sure, I'd be surprised to be recognised. I definitely appreciate all the regular posters and commenters on here though!

I was way more active on my previous account before my instance died. These days I am trying to get out of my lurking habits, but it's substantial effort sometimes

Anyway, I recognise a lot of names on these threads. In a way, it's very wholesome and warm but also a stark reminder of how small lemmy still is. Not that it's a bad thing, but sometimes there's not much, if at all, discussion for more niche stuff
