Whether it is American owned or not it is reporting what the Maple MAGAts are doing. All media, except the CBC, is American owned. That's why the Conservatives hate it so much.

How can you end birthright citizenship when this country was literally built via birthright citizens. Do they think Canadians originally just sprouted out of the ground?

It's either Maple MAGA rage bait or the reasons of an actual white supremacist. Who the fuck cares is a few hundred wealthy foreigners come to Canada to have their babies? Those wealthy Canadian citizens will come back to Canada at some point and bring their wealth into Canada's economy. They always focus on the Richmond hospital because it engages their worst racist tenancies that they are all Chinese.

This is just right wing agenda setting. Literally nobody cares about abolishing birthright citizenship apart from Maple Maga types.
All of this conservative rage bait is distraction. They don't want you to figure out that corporations that don't pay taxes get more welfare in Canada than Canadian taxpayers do. They don't want you to figure out that it isn't immigrants that are taking your jobs but those same corporations that can't pay you any less sending your jobs somewhere where they can pay people less. They don't want you to figure out that they are bought and paid for by those same corporations. They are setting the stage for a MAGA style assault on the rights of everyone who isn't a white, wealthy Christian man or that they are the real people that we should "save the children" from.
