Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Nobody reads newspapers anymore. Video reporting was far more flattering for Trump.

First of all, yes, absolutely: it was blatantly obvious to anyone paying attention and who had even a modicum of critical thinking skills and sense of history, just from the direct quotes and clips of Trump himself.

However, a lot of people don't have those things, and the media did a fuck-ton of horse-race reporting, sanewashing, and hypernormalization in between those quotes and clips, so it is absolutely culpable for what happened as well.

People are emotional creatures. Many feel a thing and then make up anything to justify their feelings. Anything to protect their ego.

"They never warned us" is easier on the ego than "I didn't listen".

I don't know how to fix that behavior
