In a Truth Social post Saturday evening, he claimed in all-caps that “the Biden FBI” supposedly “placed 274 agents into the crowd on January 6”.

I mean technically it was Biden's fault that J6 happened, just not in the way Trump is saying. If Biden hadn't won, Trump wouldn't have tried to make it happen.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 hour ago

Well that wouldnt even be Biden's fault, it would be the voters.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 11 points 3 hours ago

Trump RELEASED those FBI Agents from Prison!

[–] Kushan@lemmy.world 32 points 5 hours ago (3 children)

Why do these kinds of headlines keep getting posted suggesting that Trump is being forgetful? He's not, he knows exactly who was in charge, but he knows his base is stupid and will get riled up at anything he wants to tell them.

It's just a constant stream of outrage to keep the base riled.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 7 points 2 hours ago

He seems pretty demented to me

[–] timbuck2themoon@sh.itjust.works 16 points 4 hours ago

Im so fucking sick of the sanewashing.

[–] DrSoap@lemmy.world 6 points 5 hours ago

Or it's little breadcrumbs circling around the fact that he has dementia and no one is doing anything about it.

[–] you_are_dust@lemmy.world 6 points 5 hours ago

Anybody remember when people were saying Biden wasn't even really president and it was Trump running things from a secret bunker?

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 33 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

"appears to forget" no he's having another episode of severe dementia.

Can't say "he lied" can't say "he has dementia" can't say "he's a rapist" for fuck's sake corporate news, what the fuck good are you AT ALL.

[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago

They're good at sanewashing, samewashing, and enabling propaganda. They've got all that down to a science.

[–] adespoton@lemmy.ca 140 points 12 hours ago (3 children)

He’s just trying to change the narrative so that others forget.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Nah, he's literally demented with dementia, he can no longer tell the difference between his own real past, his own real past propoganda, his own real current, and his own current propoganda.

He is a sad, angry, hateful, dying old man whose brain is rapidly going from cottage cheese to rancid cottage cheese.

[–] adespoton@lemmy.ca 2 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Having known a lot of people suffering from dementia, this doesn’t have the feel of dementia; closer to schizophrenia.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 5 hours ago

Dementia + malignant, grandiose narcissism.

It looks similar, not the same, but similar to schizophrenia.

He... probably doesn't literally have persistent voices in his head no one else can hear.

But, he's surrounded by sycophantic yes men... who are enabling his delusions.

... and that has basically been the case for his entire life.

Inventing new realities to comfort themselves

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 12 points 8 hours ago

It's part of their Sky Daddy culture

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 10 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Like that leftist that nearly assassinated him.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 29 points 9 hours ago

Republicans claim that Roseanne was fired due to pressure from the Obama administration. It happened while Trump was president

[–] officermike@lemmy.world 81 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

This has "why wasn't Obama in the White House on 9/11" vibes to it.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 17 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I heard Barack Obama didn't go to work in either of the twin towers on 9/11 either. What did he know and when did he know it?

Morning detention

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

That checks out. I was wiping snot on the underside of a classroom table at the time.

[–] Redditsux@lemmy.world 44 points 12 hours ago (4 children)

Dementia is a sad thing to see.

[–] knobbysideup@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 hours ago

For my dad yes. For this dictator wannabe child rapist grifter? Nope.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 9 points 6 hours ago

While he's clearly in cognitive decline, let's not give him credit by blaming this on a disease. This is the same narcissistic gaslighting bullshit he's been pulling his entire life.

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 33 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

The sadder thing is how many will blindly follow this dementia. That’s the real Trump derangement syndrome

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 17 points 10 hours ago

So much this. The real derangement is that millions think a failed game show host and lifelong con artist (and pedo) is great for this country.

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 22 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Dementia is a sad thing to have running the country.

[–] Sideshow_B00b@lemmy.zip 4 points 6 hours ago

Don’t you worry, the ones actually running the Trump admin are young-ish virile fascists functioning at the top of their game. Though in the case of Stephen Miller clearly not very virile..

[–] Wytch@lemmy.zip 16 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

When everything is Biden, every Biden looks like a Biden

[–] dick_fineman@discuss.online 13 points 9 hours ago

Malkovich malkovich? Malkovich.

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 11 points 10 hours ago

More like:

When Biden is Biden, every Biden looks Biden a Biden.

Your version is too coherent.

[–] Fyrnyx@kbin.melroy.org 8 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

It's funny he went from blaming Obama for everything to now Biden.

[–] 13igTyme@piefed.social 1 points 7 hours ago

Wait until you hear the theory that Obama was actually running things for his former vice president.

[–] NerdyKeith@lemmy.world 5 points 10 hours ago

He knows he's just being a pathological liar

[–] cmbabul@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago

The entirety of American politics and business is currently kayfabe, a lot of it has been for a while but its become complete

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world -1 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I couldn’t vote for Harris because she didn’t let me know enough about her policies.

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 4 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Yes, her website with a list of policies was definitely hidden well. /s

No, the real problem was she decided that veering back to center/right to attract conservative D/R voters who weren't going to vote for her anyway, rather than stay more progressive. Part of that was the Gaza position, which is what most non-voters claim decided their actions. Democrat election losses are always ones they decide to lose because they go the wrong direction. They're very good at it.

They made the right choice by not voting for her because Trump brought peace to the Middle East.
