Is anyone else bothered by how much “concern” and “emotion” for 20 people are being broadcast by this crowd, all of whom, it sounds like, couldn’t give two shits about the 60,000 Palestinians killed by their government? Like, this is way way off kilter. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Yeah there's wall to wall coverage of the release of a handful of Israeli hostages, but the thousands upon thousands of dead Palestinians is treated like a footnote. They've been dehumanised from the start. And now that there's a ceasefire, the complete butchering of the people of Gaza will just be forgotten about, and the Israeli state/IOF will face no consequences for what they've done.
The ceasefire doesn't nullify the mass murder. In a just world Netanyahu and his cronies and western backers would all be put on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
