In 1984, they didn't know that the Macintosh wasn't what people wanted. Or at least Steve Jobs didn't know, with his reality distortion field. It wasn't hard for Woz to figure out.
Anyway, the glasses thing (Google Glass et al) might have wheels, but Vision Pro was never gonna be more than a tech toy with limited purpose.
