He's actually talking about war crimes. How, if the US military had simply gone into those conflicts with the intention of murdering everyone in their path, they would have "won".
He's still wrong, of course. They did try that in Vietnam, and it didn't work any better than not trying it in other countries.
He can't even run a casino without bankrupting it.
Also he WAS THERE for Afghanistan and he negotiated the withdrawal of the US troops with the Taliban.
So then war crimes? Everybody else understanding that from this fucking bullshit too?
I don't know how well it was ever validated, but he supposedly asked advisors a few times in 2016 if we had nukes why we didn't use them. Maybe he didn't say it... but would you be surprised if he did?
Also shows how little he knows about geography and why it makes some wars really hard to win.
