How are any of then surprised? Trump is the most easily bribeable man to ever be president.

[–] dick_fineman@discuss.online 2 points 47 minutes ago

Well most of them have brain damage, and still think he gives a fuck about anything other than being a soft richie-bitch. It'd be funny if it weren't so sad. No, I was wrong, it's still fucking hilarious.

I just love, that even in this, they seem to find a way to still, blame Obama and Biden for it.

This is what happens when you gut national-security training, scrub every mention of Islam, jihad, and Sharia from the manuals, and let Obama- and Biden-era bureaucrats turn counterterrorism into cultural sensitivity class. We’re being led by officials who no longer recognize or refuse to name the enemy they’re inviting into our own backyard.

The cope is strong with that one.

maga "betrayed" blah blah blah. stop every believe fascists are going to ever become decent people. all these maga people "leaving" the party is theatrical bullspit.

[–] VitoRobles@lemmy.today 25 points 9 hours ago

Ah those MAGA cucks love getting fucked by Trump. It gets them off.

They'll complain and then tomorrow go "Yes daddy"

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 22 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

never felt more betrayed

So far...

[–] GladiusB@lemmy.world 5 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

Wait until the white and red uniforms come out

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 5 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

I'm missing the reference.

Oh damn I fell thick as fuck now. Awesome Blazing Saddles gif to explain. Reminds of this panel from Preacher:

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 hours ago

Team Canada's jerseys?

[–] ShittDickk@lemmy.world 44 points 17 hours ago (2 children)

I remember what happened the last time US trained middle eastern pilots in the late 90s / very early 2000s

[–] ArmchairAce1944@discuss.online 0 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

I remember people online said some racist shit that they had to tone down the training because Arabs are stupid and can't fly.

[–] dick_fineman@discuss.online 1 points 44 minutes ago

...

...

I don't want to take the bait, and I don't even believe it...but:

they can fly but they can't land.

Fuck you for making me do that.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 15 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

Wow, was it something spectacular, eye opening, and thought provoking?

[–] balance8873@lemmy.myserv.one 2 points 5 hours ago

It was definitely all those things, plus racist.

[–] boaratio@lemmy.world 12 points 10 hours ago

It was a cash cow for the defense industry.

[–] W3dd1e@lemmy.zip 51 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

Just checked r/Conservative and they seem completely unfazed. They literally do not care.

[–] Seleni@lemmy.world 16 points 9 hours ago

Yup. These stories are just copium articles for the left so we keep letting this shithead do whatever he wants.

[–] BanMe@lemmy.world 26 points 10 hours ago

Any time I see one of these "MAGA revolts" stories, AND/OR an article from rawstory.com, I know I can ignore it.

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 56 points 22 hours ago (4 children)

For what legitimate purpose could Qatar have to put a military facility on Idaho? And Trump and Hegseth have absolutely no legitimate reason to allow it. Clearly payback for the bribery of the Plane and future bribes.

[–] ArmchairAce1944@discuss.online 3 points 5 hours ago

They got bribed and the Qataris can brag that they have a base in the US when no one else does.

[–] olympicyes@lemmy.world 20 points 21 hours ago (2 children)

More importantly, they probably bought unknown quantities of his $TRUMP crypto.

[–] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 5 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Don't need to mess with shady crypto for corruption, the law allows presidents to get unlimited "presidential library donations" from anyone, for example foreign entities, individuals seeking presidential pardons and corporations

[–] olympicyes@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

None of the presidential libraries had $20 billion of donations pour in.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 2 points 9 hours ago

Yuge quantities

Can you imagine how the right would react if this was done by a dem president? They may have actually started a civil war over it.

[–] Clent@lemmy.dbzer0.com 70 points 1 day ago (8 children)

The article has a quote that literally blames this on Biden and Obama.

Wut.

The dedication to the bit is really something. Not a single crack showing, just smooth plaster.

Well at least now we know the price of opening an airbase in the US for non-NATO countries

Qatar base? In Idaho?

Ok, now you're fucking with me. I don't believe any of you that this is real.

[–] But_my_mom_says_im_cool@lemmy.world 23 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Wouldn’t that be the first and only foreign base in us soil? Trump really bent over and lubed up

Do you regret giving him a pass for that $200 million plane bribe?

[–] ultranaut@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

That's about half the plane bribe, it's actually estimated to be around $400 million. There's also several billion more in Qatari bribes transferred via sketchy business deals involving Trump's crypto scams, golf courses, hotels, etc.

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago

I like Trump because he openly accepts bribes and does horrible things out in the open!

[–] salacious_coaster 98 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (5 children)

Really, never? Seems like he fucks over his people at least once a week.

This is what happens when you gut national-security training, scrub every mention of Islam, jihad, and Sharia from the manuals, and let Obama- and Biden-era bureaucrats turn counterterrorism into cultural sensitivity class.

Christ on sale, these people are stupid. The GOP-led Congress could pass a law called the Fuck Our MAGA Simps In Particular Act, signed by Trump, and they'd still blame Obama.
