First time I'd seen this, I'd describe it as waffle but with two animals that can take up space and mean the words can be shorter. It's a good twist, and I'll be playing again so I can figure out if the animals can be separated (probably not, since it reduces the crossers).

I think the animals have to be together at the end of the puzzle... That's why it's called "reunion"!
