Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.
Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

You have to watch Star Trek Continues, it picks up immediately where ToS left off.
Yes, it's a fan show, but it's got absolutely fantastic sets, sound, acting and writing, it goes above and beyond.
It's really top notch, and I was so sad when they stopped making it!

Babylon 5?
Babylon 5 is DS9 in the right universe, with muppets!
Ivonova and Sinclair never attacked a populated planet. Technically Sheridan did, but I don't think Za'hadum actually counts as inhabited....
Farscape!
Came here to say this.
Next step:
Wait... Are we only allowed to do it twice?
They just said "again"
the orville. written by and stars some of the pre-2010s talent
Had an argument with my dad about The Orville. He said it was too 'woke' and political. I told him that's exactly what makes it feel like good classic Trek.
Has your dad watched classic trek recently? Its mostly woke.
That's what I don't get. It's like the people saying Sesame Street has gotten too woke. Were you even paying attention the first time? That's what I liked about many episodes of The Orville: it felt like classic Star Trek because it was pushing the envelope of social and philosophical issues through a sci-fi lens.
He asked me if he would like SNW and I wasn't sure what to tell him. The cast may be more diverse, but honestly the plots have largely been focused on action.
Season 4 let's gooooo! 🥹
i know im so excited!!
Stargate?
I am the great and powerful Oz!
You give us your ranking from best to worst show, in your personal opinion. Then we all get to argue about it and have fun.
Not op, but this is definitive, so we can get into an argument when your list is slightly different
Ds9
LD
TOS
TNG
VOY
SNW
ENT
TAS
Prodigy
Discovery/Picard
Putting TOS as 3rd is just wrong, have you even watched it recently? Absolute terrible opinions good sir, especially having the greatest musical of all time so low on the list.
I watch TOS relatively frequently, watched a few episodes the other day. It’s a really fantastic show, more great episodes in the first season than some other shows have their entire run. The Spock/Kirk/McCoy dynamic is as special as it has ever been. Pacing is slower, which I like, and even a lot of the mediocre eps do a really nice job setting up a mystery that they actually solve.
There’s also a lot of truly awful eps, and highly outdated bits, but a great show.
Also, much like Janeway I don’t appreciate being called sir, ma’am will do in a pinch. (I know Star Trek was trying to be progressive by using sir universally, but I find it mildly sexist)
And I agree, it hurt to put Voyager as low as it was, the doctor’s rendition and alteration of la Donna e mobile was as brilliant as you state, but still had to put TNG higher, so many great episodes.
I'll make a post of it after some thought. Gotta tease the crowd before stirring them up into a fervor.
"And ummthatguy wept, for there were no more Treks to watch."
Continues is amazingly good.
More than it has any right to be
This and The Orville.
then you watch all of star wars
will that get me crucified in this community?😂
Easy, get amnesia then watch Star Trek again for the first time!
Time to start watching Gundam
I just find it nearly impossible to get my hands on like 75% of gundam content
As a Gundam fan in the west, you really have to turn to the pirates. Part of me wishes Sunrise/Bandai would get their shit together and get it all available, but as somebody who has followed the series since the late 90s it's kind of always been this way. You can buy the Blu Rays if that's your thing, but you can also find everything in great quality from multiple sites.
The one tracker i have access to doesnt have any that arent widely available elsewhere unfortunately but maybe one day I'll get on one that does.
I started that path, I've only hit highlights.
Edit: it's all good so far, but I sadly don't have subtitle Time, so only dubs are in my future. (I'm usually doing something else while it plays)
You can watch a large chunk of UC with dubs. ZZ isn't dubbed, and a few of the newest ones aren't dubbed yet, but otherwise it's probably one of the more accessible anime to get into. If you've only seen highlights I would say it's a good time to just start episode 1 of 0079 and roll it. It's not like every episode is amazing, but it's fun and cool to see where the story begins.
when I realize I have no new treks to watch
also worth checking out Babylon 5 and Stargate SG-1 if you haven't already, both have a lot of Trek in their DNA (and in B5's case there was cross-polination in both directions)
Fire up the beta canon!
Start on TrekLit! Seriously...join me; you'll (probably) love it.
I started with "A Stitch in Time" because I've wanted to read it forever, and now I've gone through that plus two trilogies and am on 4 out of 5 books in the "Star Trek: Picard" sequel/interquel series.
Hard copies might be difficult / expensive to obtain since many of them are out of print, but ebooks [dot] com has most of them available DRM-free if you've got an e-reader or don't mind reading on your phone. A couple of the newer ones are DRM-only so I had to buy them and high-seas a DRM-free version lol. From what I've noticed, it seems like the publisher doesn't release the DRM-free version until 5 years after initial release. So, ethical piracy is my solution to that.
Here's some gems from the one I'm reading now (ST Picard: Firewall). It's about Seven's time with the Fenris Rangers
This. Some of the best Trek is non-canon. Personally I’d recommend anything by Diane Duane or the Reeves-Stevenses.
or the Reeves-Stevenses
DS9: Millennium was fantastic. Third book seemed like it had some filler and drug on a bit too long in certain areas, but overall the whole trilogy was great. Arla Rees, though.....ugh. lol
