This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.

Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.

Posting Guidelines

All posts should follow this basic structure:

  1. Which mods/admins were being Power Tripping Bastards?
  2. What sanction did they impose (e.g. community ban, instance ban, removed comment)?
  3. Provide a screenshot of the relevant modlog entry (don’t de-obfuscate mod names).
  4. Provide a screenshot and explanation of the cause of the sanction (e.g. the post/comment that was removed, or got you banned).
  5. Explain why you think its unfair and how you would like the situation to be remedied.

Rules

Expect to receive feedback about your posts, they might even be negative.

Make sure you follow this instance's code of conduct. In other words we won't allow bellyaching about being sanctioned for hate speech or bigotry.

Got no post for this one. Literally no idea what he's even talking about. I also barely know who this guy is. I think I messaged him once in the past when I saw his name a bunch and I was being nice and diplomatic but otherwise? No idea who he is. The only time I've ever heard his name is by people saying stuff about him being an incredibly toxic and horrible human being on Lemmy. Which made it all the more hilarious to see this.

The only thing I've ever said about the dude recently was in the YePowerTrippingBastards matrix channel where I said that it's kind of hilarious that losers like him spend so much time getting angy and worked up over something to go after it again and again and again.

So lemme get the crayons and break it out for the false savior with breathing difficulties so severe he's going to choke on his own ego.

I make a post every now and again while occasionally pointing out the stupidity of others. You just seem to actively go after people over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. See... I've got a hobby. You've got an obsession and one that's eating away at you pretty bad by the look of it. Wanna go out for a frappe buddy? Need a hug big guy?

He said db0 was obsessed with him, keeping tabs on him. Meanwhile he uses an alt to stalk chat rooms when they talk about things he doesn't like and bans them. Like the Tankies he swears he hates.

Willing to bet he's in this thread already, downvoting anything that doesn't agree to his narrow minded view or doesn't kiss his ass and say he's such a good boy for online arguments that have no point, before he bans you for something else that irritated him.

Reddit.world once again proving it's nickname. If they had any dignity they'd ban Pug. So many ToS violations. Then again they never took care of JordanLund's messes after years, so they won't do anything for their favorite troll.

Unequivocally, wholely a power tripping bastard. Can't wait to see how he uses this thread as proof we're the Tankies who've gotten worse since the election, somehow all alts from .ml/Hexbear, or whatever new lie he came up with and spreads like a Facebook boomer. Because if you call out anyone's horrid takes, you're now an enemy of their favorite capitalist state.

I tend to see both y'all memeing on there regularly, why in the world would he ban you. Granted, yours are mostly anti-nazi or anti-confederates, which makes the hypocrisy rational that much more baffling.

Because I called him a whiny bitch in an unrelated matrix channel. The ban was timed to about the same time that I made that comment. He's got such a fragile ego that he had to create an alternate matrix account and hide in the background watching people talk about him so he could fuel his own anger. So sad lol

And yet he called me the stalker, and the db0 obsessed with him. While he does shit like this. Including taking screenshots out of context of our admins to prove his agenda.

I'm still waiting for proof about his new argument about me of where I mass downvoted TankieJerk. Still haven't seen any proof. But I had plenty of evidence that he targeted my account. Even told me he scans Lemmy for his username.

Yeah PugJesus can be really toxic, they post a lotttt and have some decent contributions sometimes but they just seem incapable of evolving their opinions about certain things and instead keep returning to certain positions and hammering them in a way that feels rigidly robotic.

Blocking PJ is the single best decision I've made to reduce my exposure to wholly unnecessary Lemmy drama. They toxic AF. Before I knew who they were, I had a very tiring conversation with them, I can't remember on what subject anymore. I checked their post history to find they were arguing the opposite point with someone else.

They seem to only be interested in riling people up and "winning" arguments however possible. If we were betting on why, my money would be on untreated mental illness, maybe ADHD.

Saw the Lincoln assassination post and looked around like 'what did you do?'

I can't even guess what could have set someone off. Universal Monk recently banned me from all his dead little circlejerks, and I can infer that was probably about shrugging off Charlie Kirk's death. This? No idea. Like PugJesus aimed for someone else and missed.
