I hope so.
I was lucky enough to see this played in Manchester, UK earlier this year. Although not by Josh Freese.
Wow that really is a great drum solo. Dunno why NIN sounds so good with natural drums even tho they're so electronic ("Only" being the other good example of this.)
I didn't go see NIN when I had a chance this year, not sure why... I think it's contrariness... I like them, so I'm expected to see them, so I refuse to do that, see? I realize it's irrational.
I won't be going. I don't have the money to afford it.
Yeah, that's a good point, with the money I saved I can go to many smaller local bands that need the support more.
I saw that shit in Seattle recently. Not sure if it was the same drummer but it blew my mind all the same.
Whole show was incredible. Definitely one of the most memorable concerts I've been to.
Awesome, thanks for sharing.
Good solo.
Studio version of this song, I think is very interesting/unusual rhytm part, probably all done on drum machine by Reznor. This concert/drummer makes a very good "more rock/pop" version of it that removes the originality of the studio version, but adds a lot of great touches, that is overall more "danceable" despite the incredible originality of studio rhythm.
NiN will not starve as a result of this "bootleg". If anything, it is extra exposure for a new generation that could learn to appreciate the original from this "more approachable" version. A generation that could be hearing NiN catalogue for the first time.
