I don't think such broad statements help anyone. You could have a similar statement from the opposite sex with different talking points.
For me the main problem here is the group thinking.

I think it's pretty undeniable that the nature of "woman-hating" and "men-hating" is rather dramatically different where it actually occurs.
I don't believe that "woman-hating" (nor "man-hating") is a universal thing, except in brief bursts of anger and/or frustration, but when it erupts, or where it resides long-term, the nature is enormously different.
Men who say they hate women are still scared of cooties.
Men who actively hate women think they are objects or property.
My mind always goes to sexual preference. You hate men? Lesbian. You hate women? Gay.
Men who hate men are lesbians?
The lot of them.
Reminds me of a study I read about a while back where they asked men and woman what scared them most about finding new dates. Men most often said they were afraid of being embarrassed. Women most often said they were afraid of being victims of violence.
I have never met a man who organized call-in times, escape routes, etc. when first going on a date with a woman.
I know within calling distance of my desk five women who do.
There is, yes, a profound difference of risk assessment across genders.
not all men do, but unfortunately, a large number do. There are some really good men out there, but you have to sift through a whole load of shit to find them.
And also in the I'm sick of arguing about the patently obvious with mediocre men who are in charge despite the obvious lack of skills way (does not apply to non-medcocre men).
Yep! Plus they are often there because they have a woman organising their life, home and raising kids for him.

I think the patriarchy is a symptom of the sociopathy that thrives under capitalism. One of the easiest us vs. them divisions to make is between men and women. Frame rights as a commodity and watch men freak out when women want more of them, like it's a pie to be shared
Patriarchy long predates capitalism. You can find intensive misogyny in Buddhism (which predates Christianity, even), in Hinduism (which may likely predate even Judaism), in "Confucianism" (no such thing, but it's too complex to get into right now), and indeed through every society in history that organized higher than the clan level.

I didn't say patriarchy came from capitalism, rather that a general sociopathy thrives when private entities control capital. I say that patriarchy is a product of general sociopathy, that organized dehumanizing of a group of people comes from a lack of empathy and compassion, which of course pre-dates capitalism.

Fascinating
I've heard lots of women (and men, actually, though far more rarely) in a moment of frustration say "fuck I hate men!". This is usually shortly after one of those "oppress" things happens.
I suspect the 'I hate women' is also sometimes hating on the silly mind games that people (often women) play, as well as their taking their own insecurities out on you, and of course, them wanting the toilet seat left down, but not the lid.

I know a guy who goes out of the way to lift the toilet seat, even after pooping, just because women have asked him to put the seat down and apparently that's enough to piss him off he does it in his own place with none of those people around years later. Some guys get really obsessed about toilet-seat etiquette. Would be lovely if my biggest worry about men was about them asking me to put the seat up after using the restroom.

He's like 29. He's been holding this grudge against someone he hasn't seen in over 7 years.
Again the scale of difference in concerns is rather striking.
Woman: "I hope he doesn't wind up hitting me."
Man: "I hope she doesn't want the seat down."
