Insulting someone for something they can't change is a bomb. It has a blast radius. Sometimes you will hit innocent bystanders.
And it is weak. It shows you are not clever enough to come up with something precise.
A good insulter is like a good tailor. It makes it fit the person perfectly.
Okay but what if I'm also a bad person and dont care what a good person might find hurtful?

Ditto for sexuality, gender, etc. Honestly, even if the target does find it hurtful, it's equally harmful to those being used as an insult.
