I'm aware lol, she spent a year in Prauge so even she thinks it's meager at best. But the alternative is so piss poor that even a 30mph coal train would be better

Fun fact! Florida passed a constitutional amendment in the 90s to build high speed rail throughout the state. And then the Florida government just went “Nah, don’t feel like it.” and not a single foot of track was ever laid.

No one got in trouble for this, in 2004 it was cancelled, and in 2018 it was removed in another constitutional amendment vote to “Repeal Prohibition on Aliens' Property Ownership, Delete Obsolete Provision on High-Speed Rail, and Repeal of Criminal Statutes' Effect on Prosecution” because those are obviously related issues.

I like having more rail but for my SO and I to go on a round trip to Miami it would be some $300....

I can't afford it, not when it would take just about as long in a car and only cost $50-60 in gas
