No. Nitpicking the exact numbers implies that there’s some number that would have justified the Israeli response. The problem with Israel’s actions in Gaza isn’t that they’re disproportionate, it’s that they’re categorically war crimes, and nothing Hamas did or didn’t do has any bearing on that whatsoever.

This is the second post I've seen about random people replying to zohrans tweet, both of which seem to be somewhat critical from my understanding?
I don't understand why there is a negative focus on this. Sure, it could be seen that it's dumb he has to do the whole condemning the attack thing, but for one, it's the anniversary of it, and two, if he didn't both the Republicans and the bastards at the DNC would eat him alive. Zohran is probably one of the best and most productive left Democrats currently. I bet he has one of the better and more aggressive takes on Israel at this moment than damn near anyone else, so why focus on nitpicking his statement?
