I know a lot of people are tired of analogue horror but man, I really enjoy Kane Pixel’s stuff. Especially this one, it just has fantastic aesthetics and atmosphere, really gets to me in a way that most horror doesn’t. Very good video and well worth the watch.

Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
People are tired of analog horror because most of it is trash. Just look at all the copycat videos Kane's original Backrooms series spawned. Lots of creators seem to think the lo-fi aesthetic with the static and VHS scroll lines and crude digital lettering are what make it creepy. No, it's the intimacy of it, something Kane nails. And beyond that, he just has a very deep understanding of cinematography and tugging the heartstrings with fear. It takes a rare talent to dribble out despair in such a subtle and compelling way as this video does. He's a standout for sure.
