I live in Hartford, some places here look like war-torn countries. so much homelessness, poverty, open drug use, etc. none of these assholes care or will do anything about it.

Connecticut has some of the most visible wage gaps in the country, the place is so small you can’t hide the poor parts. There’ll be a trailer park right next to the yacht supply store or the bougie craft beer bar, it’s nuts.
