Pretending any of this is ok or normal.

I've been unemployed for months. I'm so tired of filling out applications 😩

I'm tired of having mobility issues and chronic pain. It could be far worse but it's not great, just want it sorted

Did you get help, some treatment maybe? It's a silly question, even more so not knowing your issue, but I ask because I had some serious issue myself, that was a few years ago and I finally decided to get help. It changed everything. I was barely able to walk at all, like I would walk a few steps and I would be done for the day, I was wrecked. Today, I will walk miles each day and I feel bad when I don't go out walking.

It's slowly improving with treatment it's just so fucking slow! I'll get there but it feels like I'm going backwards

Yes, it can be slow and... frustrating. Don't give up. I had quite a few steps back. At first, I raged (mostly against myself and my own stupidity) but it made things worse. A lot. So, I decided to focus only on what is improving/has improved. And to this day, most of the time I can go through any setback (and more important, through me screwing up ;) without much difficulty.

Edit: typos + clarifications

That's good advice 😊

I hope that gets a lot easier as soon as possible. Hoping your GP is a good'n.

Thanks mate! It's improving just slowly

!superbowl@lemmy.world agrees

Tall, skinny phones and portrait-optimized apps. It's like your viewport is restricted to looking out of an arrow slit in an old-timey castle while also requiring a step ladder to reach anything at the top of the screen.

Tired of? So many stuff it's hard to pick one. Most left focusing on being the stupidest it can be, would be a valid choice. Posting that from France, if it matters (I don't think it does, the left is so badly fucked up in most Western countries it's not even funny). Edit: me being me would be another choice.

Desperate about? People enjoying TV/Web/social media more than opening a book.
Reading (books) helped the diffusion of new and daring ideas (aka, ideas that did make some people feel offended, to say the least) and they played a role in the birth of our democracies. Don't anyone worry what society the absence of (reading) books will help build instead? I do.
