As a dum rural American that knows territorial citizenship is a thing (with wonky caveats not applicable to Puerto Rico) you’d be surprised how many Americans in general have zero clue pr is a part of the us. My last vaca there was fun but after I was back the amount of people that asked about passports was too dam high. And this is in a rather educated metro area.

I love the pattern on the right: "Despite X occurring plenty of times throughout the years on 'my side', this time I'm really riled up about something that's not even true!"

He loves his country so much he wants to defend it from ignorant outsiders, but isn't even aware of who has citizenship and won't explain why this didn't have any bearing on past musical performances.

Intellectual consistency isn't their strong point.

I mean, I don't like the choice, simply because I don't care for his music, but I have liked maybe 1 super bowl halftime ever, so whatever. It is funny seeing all the racists get mad because he speaks Spanish tho.
