Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the only thing us working class can do (outside of a full revolution) is to get ~~invisible~~ invested with politics and make infrastructure changes within our communities.
Simply saying "something needs to change" is not going to change anything, and hoping that the people who have willingly acted in their own interests over the interests of every living thing to date will somehow have a Ebenezer Scrooge moment is unrealistic.
In much of the world, you can actively volunteer for or donate to campaigns. Modest contributions of time or money add up and alter political outcomes. So does contacting elected officials and asking them to act. One person doing this has a limited impact; groups being organized and doing it together can exert power even when fairly economically limited.
