Crashing and then crashing

How to crash your software and hardware at once.

Yo Dawg, I heard you like merging. ..

[–] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 32 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Ok, obviously merging while you merge is super dangerous. Almost as dangerous as using light mode on your phone. The rider should've known he was a sociopath just from that.

[–] BJ_and_the_bear@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Hey, I prefer light mode. There are dozens of us!

[–] jadelord@discuss.tchncs.de 11 points 2 months ago

Somebody tell that dude that having a "bus factor" doesn't mean you should actively seek getting run over by a bus!

[–] TheLeadenSea@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 months ago (1 children)

This is the sort of engineer getting wholly replaced by Copilot

[–] TuffNutzes@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

He's checking in code for FSD.

[–] outerspace@lemmy.zip 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

This is a concept known as CAC (configuration as code) - the driver made changes to the route, making the change visible, reversible, safe, auditable and testable. It's also great for the PRs merged per day metric!
