There did seem to be a lack of Orville memes around here.

Maybe we should do Orville memes on like April Fools Day or something. It's basically star trek.

Perhaps misplaced memes using Trek quotes/situations.

The Orville is Star Trek if they had to recruit real people.

Also Scott Grimes is a fucking great actor.

I'm just imagining your average middle manager type becoming a first officer. And applying all of the dumb corporate decisions they always come up with.

I'm just imagining not being able to use the holodeck because you need to reset your password, and it must contain a capital letter, a lowercase letter, a number, a special character, something from the Greek alphabet, a colour, and cannot be any of the previous 40 passwords.

Orville deserves more recognition than 1 day a year

The Orville is good, but man the captain can be such a massive piece of shit. (Time shenanigans Kelly)

Kind of like Kirk, isn't it?

[–] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 years ago

I don't think Kirk ever tried to coerce a woman, who stated she wasn't interested, into dating him

In fact, forget the Blackjack and Hookers!

Wait! Is this real? Was he really in an episode? I must have missed that.

[–] setsneedtofeed@lemmy.world 13 points 2 years ago

Yeah. He played a random ensign with a couple of lines.

Thats interesting. I knew he was a Trek fan. I am happy that he was able to be a part of it.
