So basically you can write anything on the bullet to place blame on the side you want blamed and everyone will automatically believe you? -- because someone who would shoot people would definitely not lie or try to make it look like a certain "side" did it, right?
Or maybe no matter what they write or who they shoot, this regime will blame it on "the left". (edit to add): The FBI could just as easily have scrawled that "anit-ice" on there before taking the picture. I guess messages on bullets is the new trend now.

Alternatively, it could have been just another right-wing fuckhead who wanted to murder some brown people and the administration is making the best use of it they can to make up for dropping the ball so hard on Kirk's assassination.
Could be a mix of the two. Could be an ICE officer who was off duty. We don't even know who they are hiring or who they are redirecting from what agency. Or it could just be someone who wanted to be ICE or were rejected by them.
It does seem likely. Especially if that "anti-ice" message on the bullets is real. That doesn't even make sense...

Many of the fuckwits that commit mass shootings kill themselves afterwards to avoid consequences. The guy killing himself afterwards is honestly perfectly normal.
Shooter appears to have been targeting kidnapped immigrants, not ICE. But sure, the violence against ICE agents has to stop. Violence against brown people, however? Totally fine.
I'm not sure what the shooter's motivations were, but he appears to have shot the van they were in multiple times and not have had any visual on his targets, meaning he could have been aiming for the ICE. It's hard to say for sure.

If that's the case, the ICE agents would be in the front of the van and the detainees would have been in the back. So how do the detainees get shot but the ICE agents are fine if the shooter was targeting agents?
Sounds like he was shooting up the general area, and the van included. Maybe not even thinking about it and could have been shooting the back of a van, for all I know.
Given the background of the shooter, I don't think he was thinking too much about the nuanced strategy and results, he was a 4-chan troll turned shooter, with maybe a bit of a libetarian bent, but mostly a generally nihilistic guy losing his mind in the cesspits of discussions.
Again, we don't know for sure, but it's not uncommion for the Agents themselves to ride in the back and all jump out on location to perform a surprise raid.

Three people were shot at the Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office on Wednesday morning, according to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.
The shooter is "down" from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Lyons said in an interview on CNN.

The victims were not immediately clear but Lyons said that "all ICE agents and officers at [the] location are accounted for right now."
This is also notable!
Because I assumed the narrative was that the shooter was targeting ICE agents.
Updated. 2 dead, 1 wounded. All were detainees. Shots were fired blindly at a building and a van. Detainees were in the van.
If this kid was aiming for the ICE he was an imbecile, so disappointed in him.
The shooter was an imbecile regardless.
Based on other reporting, sounds like it's as much likely he thought it would be 'funny' to set the world on fire a bit rather than standing for any particular ideology. Which seems to be a very difficult problem as the usual strategies fall apart since the individuals just jump to an extremist action without any particularly certain indicators beforehand.

So supposedly this was targeted at ICE but he missed and hit 3 immigrants by accident. So, again, both sides will claim the other side is responsible.
The only thing clear is that there's more violence coming.
It really, really feels like a false flag, either completely or partially staged. The single round in a... stripper clip? with the phrase "anti ice" hastily written on ONE bullet is bad enough, but the tweet by Patel really sealed it, both in terms of posting evidence in a murder case on social media, and the fact that he said "empty casings were engraved" as he posted the picture of non-empty bullet casings with sharpie markings. It seems like they tried to do something hasty and rapid here and made a lot of mistakes.
Worth noting there is precedent for this; this is exactly how right-wing extremists operate; notable examples in the past proven to be such false flags include:
I'm really surprised ol' wide-eyes didn't have his boys write "Antifa 4Ever!" on the shell. The weird rush-job of the whole thing really lends me to believe whatever went down wasn't exactly how they had planned.
I guess we wait and see what obvious bs they do next like throw a wig on the shooter's body and call him "trans."

Immigrants or gastapo?
Sounds like 3 people shot, and the shooter killed himself. 2 people were detainees that were shot, no information on the third. Noem of course is saying "violence against ICE has to stop".... But this very much sounds like violence against immigrants. Unless they were detaining ICE officers
Edit: Fox is reporting all 3 were detainees, being shot with a rifle from range and the shooter killed himself. Fox made sure to say the shooter was white.
I haven't seen anyone else report on it outside FOX/CNN with any details yet
