WATTERS: And then they sabotaged the teleprompter. I mean, this is an insurrection. And what we need to do is either leave the UN or we need to bomb it. It is in New York though right?

GUTFELD: Yeah, it is.

WATTERS: Could be some fallout there. Alright, maybe gas it?

DANA PERINO (CO-HOST): Let's not do that.

WATTERS: Don't gas it. Okay, but we need to destroy it. Maybe can we demolish the building? Have everybody leave and then we will demolish the building.

This reads like the translated Russian propaganda that i used to laugh at.

Now I still laugh but with more gusto because itd not just "brain washed" Russian who fall for it.

Now it's Americans too

"I hope they get to the bottom of it, and I hope they really injure, emotionally, the people that did it."

Cool. Perhaps someone could bomb, emotionally, Jesse Watters? Like a really emotional F-bomb, I mean.

By the way, the intended purpose of this isn't to comment on the UN or whatever. The purpose is to openly flaunt the fact that the rules don't apply to them whatsoever. With this and the "kill the homeless" comment, they want to rub it in the faces of leftists and liberals. If those groups say anything even slightly controversial about Charlie Kirk, it's disgusting and vile and they demand severe consequences. But Confederates can say whatever, because they have the power and they want everyone to know it and feel it.

FOX is definitely going to suspend him, right?

[–] Maeve@kbin.earth 32 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I await with bated breath the FCC statement saying this can be resolved the easy way or hard way.

The right: "Everything not actually an insurrection that I don't like is AN INSURRECTION. The actual J6 insurrection? NOT an insurrection, Taco was being just when he set those political prisoners free!"

[–] don@lemmy.ca 23 points 1 day ago

The right are murderous stochastic terrorists and we are the infidels.

[–] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 16 points 1 day ago

And the "left" is wringing its hands impotently, worried about appearing threatening.

Inb4 some incel takes the cue.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

You have to wonder if any of these tools know or care where the UN is? I figure they don't know and they don't care. But mainly I figure they are just willfully ignorant.

The most pathetic kind of ignorance.

I can't decide whether Fox and Friends or The Five is the worst segment on Fox. Seems like they're in competition for the title. The both of them are technically comedy or even satire segments, but of course they use that as a shield from criticism. "No reasonable person would take this seriously", just like they argue in court when they get sued for the raw sewage they spew into public discourse.

But "Kill all of the homeless" and "destroy the UN and everyone who's part of it" are only jokes if you find those actions amusing.

Is Fox News rebranding to The Murder Channel? Killing the homeless, gassing the UN. Why are republicans allowed to roam free, they are a danger to Humanity.

Likelihood is very low, but if I'm ever taking an escalator and I see Trump on it behind me - you better bet I'm dropping my phone and awkwardly hitting the 'emergency stop' button at the top.

I'm just clumsy like that 🤷🏻

Wonder if someone else was clumsy in this case?

Edit: I just read that it was someone in Trump's own escort/group that pressed the 'emergency stop' ahead of him. Fucking what? This whole inconvenience/attack is manufactured.

WATTERS: And then they sabotaged the teleprompter. I mean, this is an insurrection.

But according to the Associated Press’s Farnoush Amiri, an anonymous U.N. official said the escalator in question was actually stopped prematurely by someone from Trump’s group, who ran ahead of the group and accidentally triggered a stop mechanism. The official added that the teleprompter that Trump was so upset about was also being operated by his White House.

It's incredible how good they are at tripping over their own dicks considering how little they have to work with.

Stop sharing stupid shit, we know they're dumb. Mute it.

[–] Archangel1313@lemmy.ca 14 points 1 day ago

Wow. These "radical left lunatics" have even infiltrated FOX News,? I never would have guessed Jesse Waters was actually a member of antifa.

i took a section of what was said and gave it a quick edit to demonstrate how this is a great example of stochastic terrorism. the clear sections are focused on while the highlighted portions are prioritized. the rest can be disregarded as either media theater, filler, or a strategy for plausible deniability. the people influenced by this will hear or read it all but their minds won't treat everything as equal, and these fascists know that and are counting on it.
