It's a(n old school) runescape joke. 99 is max level, level 92 is halfway to 99 in terms of total exp needed!
Oh shit, talk about hell levels.
Actually total XP needed doubles about every 7 levels the whole way up. So yeah, can get tedious, I have a few at 85, so 1/4 of the way there.

There's a car I see frequently near me that has 99/2=92 as a bumper sticker and I was so happy to see it.
And the max java number/integer/whatever of 2.147 billion!

It's the D2 difference of 92 to 99, killed me hard in hardcore..... Oh the agony!
