So science aside, RFK threw a patent-free drug under the bus while letting much more lucrative ones unscathed? Well played Big Pharma!

[–] heydo@lemmy.world 38 points 1 day ago

the administration also touted leucovorin (folinic acid) as a potential treatment for autism

Don't forget they're also promoting a "medication" (more like a supplement) that is being sold by Dr. Oz, who is currently overseeing the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

So not just unscathed, personally escorted to safety and provided with a huge buffet.

"We didn’t wait 20 years for Bobby to finally speak and then get served Tylenol as an answer," anti-vaccine group Georgia Coalition for Vaccine Choice wrote in an unhinged Facebook post on Monday morning. "If that's all we hear - is that the end? Not thimerosal. Not aluminum. Not MMR. Not Hep B. Not the insane schedule pushed after pharma got liability protection. Are we supposed to just forget?"

We didn't wait 20 years for the wrong anti vac theories to be pushed out! We was OUR conspiracy theory to reign, not yours!

Meanwhile, in the background, a million scientists are quietly trying to hang themselves

Guess you dummies better stop taking Tylenol or you'll get the autism. And don't use acetaminophen--- who knows what's in that, with that long science-sounding word.

🙄

Aseedas? Well. Let's see how we say that. Durp-de-durp. Ah-seed-a-moini-fins?

Ah, shit. Now I've got the spectrums.

[–] bss03 1 points 1 day ago

Is "the spectrums" like "the vapours" or like "the sugars" (aka "sugar diabeetus" )?

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago

Hmmmmm these people are having a stupid contest...

Simple search, acetaminophen invented 1878. Genetic markers for neurological development disorders go back to the dawn of humanity...

Ahhh yes. Not only can vaccines, Tylenol, and whatever the flavor of the day is for these psychopaths cause autism but they can also travel through time.

Some clouds do have a silver lining, after all.

Hey you get a gift box edition of the home game!

Confederacy of dunces.

Rare antitylenol groups win

I mean if that gets these morons to vaccinate their kids, I guess I'll take that unintended consequence.

If conservative mothers have to suffer, I'm willing to be like Charlie Kirk and have them pay the cost for getting the stupid off of vaccines.

What happened to RFK’s voice? Has he figured that out yet?

[–] nocturne@slrpnk.net 22 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (3 children)

He has a neurological condition, the name escapes me at the moment, that is the cause of the voice issue.

Update: it is spasmodic dysphonia

[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Probably caused by tylenol

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Or all the heroin and brainworms

[–] bss03 7 points 1 day ago

I had a Home Econ teacher in secondary school that had the same thing. She had to use a mic+speaker just to do lectures. When she was my mother's teacher her voice was fine.

I'm a little surprised at how long RFK Jr. can prattle on. My home ec teacher limited her speaking as much as reasonable; she said she got sore throats easily from speaking too much.
