I can't believe they stopped for something so minor. "Flawed concept", "poor test results", smh, Cold War military budgets would never have given up so quickly
One thing is sure though, had it been developed during the cold war, it would have had a cooler name.

Self-stabilization algorhythms, sensors, and gyroscopes are in pletiful supply.
Considering the military-industrial complex's disinterest, you or I have as good a chance of making one, working out the kinks and getting it sold in mass quantities as anyone.
