If schools shootings happen because of gun culture, it a necessary evil that only the radical left would want to oppose. If a political pundit who defended that argument is shot due to the same gun culture, it was the radical left that must have been involved in some way or just took advantage of the shooting by using it to continue to criticize gun culture. — MAGA, probably.

I'm in the same boat. Nothing is worse than losing loved ones and an entire country to this cult. I wish that we could come together and take down the Cults and propaganda in the same way that we took action against Disney+.

It was a school shooting in that it was a shooting that occurred at a place of education AND it was an assassination in that it meets the definition of assassination

I'm not downboating you myself, but - on one hand you're not technically wrong - the collection of facts about that day supports both statements
The point being made by the original poster is that this event isn't something shocking and unique, it's something that was statistically bound to happen.
Fox and their conservative sphere have been mastering the art of 'spin' for decades. That is, they've found that you can take a collection of facts and make any number of stories, just by changing which details are empathized. Indeed, they've made this about the attack, and have used it to advance their agenda. Your statement is a 'both sides' thing and that too plays into their hand - that's why you're being downvoted. This post is about changing the narrative, not just adding details to conservative spin.
This could not have been explained better. I hope that lemmy doesn't turn into another troll infestation.

It’s insane…. Dude was a podcaster. Yea it was sad like it is when anyone dies. Dude didn’t hold any offices or anything. We could talk about what he could have become all day, but all he was, was a podcaster that was passionate about his message. The amount of attention he is getting is ridiculous… as if he was a past president.
He also paid for buses of people to go to the January insurrection too. Don't sell his accomplishments short.

If it's a legitimate shooting, the body has ways of rejecting the bullet. He clearly wanted this. That's why he was acting so provocatively.
