Me and a couple friends from Lemmy have also been having a movie night lately! We watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang recently, one of my favorite movies of all time so I suggest that one.
Bullet Train is pretty fun. I'm a big fan of one set films.
Galaxy Quest is a MUST. Same with Clue.
You know I've never seen Galaxy quest. I should put it on my watch list anyway

Like... Listen. I know I'm a nobody. But trust me on this one thing. Trust me.
I'm just here to add weight to that sentiment: Galaxy Quest is up there with Princess Bride as required light, family friendly viewing.
The new Knives Out is coming up. The first and second deserve a rewatch.
The first Matrix, too bad they never made any sequels.
The Mask of Zorro is my all time top guilty pleasure.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula is great and incredibly horny.
Princess Bride.
Hot Fuzz, gets better every time you watch it.
Labyrinth, yes plz.
Muppets Christmas Carol, later in the year, but like the best Muppets movie.
Wallace and Grommet, any but Curse of the Wererabbit is my favourite.
Rocky Horror Picture Show, depending on the group.
Similarly, The Room. Set up some spoon emojis 🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄🥄
Anything with Tom Hanks. Apollo 13, Forrest Gump and A Man Called Otto if you need somewhere to start.
Puss in boots the last wish.

one of my favorites to suggest is a classic called Paper Moon.
It's black and white and has that slower pacing of some older movies. I think it also stands up and has the kind of comedy that endures. We watch it every year around the holidays.

u could work thru the moviedrome list for some cult classics (i have slowly been doing this myself, as well as trying to watch the corresponding intro if its on youtube), they are not always good movies (tho a lot are). but they will likely get some opinions flowing, there's a good variety of genres as well
