Didn't this come from Sinclair media, the notoriously right wing, massive media conglomerate?
I'm not sure how it works, and not saying Disney isn't partially to blame.

Sinclair is the "ABC Affiliate stations".

Reaching a real person at any of these companies' call centers will cost the company real money.
(It can also hurt the statistics of the call center employee, so it's morally wishy-washy)
