Would have been a perfect opportunity to change this to Retro Handhelds or Retro Handheld+Gaming. And give SBC back to its original purpose.

Also, was this ridiculously hard to make an account for for anyone else?

It’s been difficult to make accounts on other instances. I think there are issues with bots slamming the account creation pages.

Idk, I was able to find this community by searching for SBCGaming. I think the name is fine for now.

I named it like that so it's easier for people from Reddit to find it. I prefer Retro Handhelds too, but people would not find it.

When the first of july exodus will have passed, I can make a vote to decide if we rename it or not (and also if we change the logo)

As someone completely new to handheld retro gaming and searching for "retro" communities I only managed to find this one on accident. Even as I type this I have no idea what "SBC" stands for. Had the About page not explained things I would have continued right past this. My 2 cents from someone discovering this scene post reddit exodus.
