Love the show. My one gripe is that it can often be difficult to see how the episode's winner is comedically playing with their ridiculous prizes when covered up by the end credits. The music and applause also takes away much of our ability to hear them, so overall it just limits the potential of each finale.

I get that there are rules for broadcast television that they likely need to display the credits on screen per union rules or some such. But what year are we living in? I stopped counting at the pandemic. But I'd nevertheless argue we've reached a stage in information technology where the credits info of a piece of media is now so widely accessible (except to Sanjeev) that it's actually in the creative's best interest to be allowed to showcase their product unobstructed.

This is not a criticism of Taskmaster because they are infallible. I just wish The Man would let me enjoy my Taskmaster in peace. Fight the power. ✊

I can remember on British TV it used to be common for the credits to be squashed into half the space so the channel could advertise the next/another show. It left them unreadable, which was often annoying when you wanted to know e.g. an actor's name.

Of course, nowadays everyone's found the answer on IMDB long before the credits roll.

The Man you’re fighting here is most likely decades of work by acting unions or their equivalent. I agree that I’d like to see the full unobstructed end scenes, but everybody involved in the production earned their place in those credits. It’s there for them, not us.
