I'd absolutely love for a peaceful split. Let conservatives have the country they voted for while the rest of us who didn't fuck around don't have to find out. I just don't know if such a thing is feasible.
I go back and forth. Part of me goes good riddance and another thinks of all the minorities in the south.
Nothing would prevent the other part of the country from offering asylum or relocation assistance. Sure, it would suck that those people have to move, but I think a lot of them want to right now and are just unable to do so.

We didn't punish the slavers appropriately, so this is a continuation.
