Alright since we are on this topic, I am gonna ask how y'all keep a straight face when a mirror is placed in front of you for about 30-45m straight?
I cannot, for the love of god, stop my smile at all. Especially when I'm slowly transitioning to a new look, I just can't stop smiling when a mirror is placed in front of me. Feels extremely awkward when a guy is working on you and you starts smiling for no reason.
That being said, I'm due for a haircut now. Planning to do it by this weekend. Last I got my haircut was in June(!). So, a good 2½ months.
Why would you want to stop yourself from smiling? Getting a fresh haircut and seeing it take shape sounds like a very good reason to smile.
You... smile... in front of a mirror? Why?
Umm.. idk I am just too smiley ig. When I'm actively doing something infront of mirror I do not smile like a maniac tho. It only happens when I'm just sitting idle and seeing my face.

Started dating a girl who liked it when I grew it out... so haven't cut it just about ten years. She's gone, but the hair stayed. I never found a barber who could consistently cut it the way I liked, so the only alternative I could see is regularly buzzing everything off.
A full haircut once a month with a cleanup 2 weeks in. My hair is thick as fuck and grows pretty quickly, so I need to stay on top of it.
I cut my own hair for years using clippers, but within the last few years started going to get it cut because they do a better job.

i shave my head twice a week, because i have the fantastic luck to have incredibly thick hair, and since 22, mpb.
But you prefer the bald look?
put it this way, i'm no patrick stewart. i did not pull the look off.
About every 3-4 weeks.
Yeah, I used to go to a place where they'd schedule me out based on three weeks, which I liked better, but now this new place leaves it to me to remember and schedule myself. I don't remember, so it's closer to 4-5 weeks.
The last cut was in 1999 to clean up an undercut. It got longer for about 15 years after that. Now it gets shorter, thinner, and balder, every day.
Every 5-10 years as it's to expensive for me to get one and have to be incredibly lucky to get one.
You live on a deserted island or something? 😁
It's called Amerikkka. You know. 4th world country, basic necessities are 400% percent expensive, no medical care that doesn't cost 4,000 bucks.

About once a month I have more or less all the hairs on my head cut
I think same as you 3 months or even 4 months
It's been like 6 months for me. I've gone over a year before. I have thrash metal hair though. lol.

My last haircut was in October 2019 when I decided I wanted to, starting then, go to an every-six-months haircut schedule
I donate my hair about every 18 months. 😉
I think once every 2 months is about average. I wait 5 months.
I cut my hair approximately once every three months
Around 8 times a year.
I take my son to the barber and we have a haircut together.
If it was just myself I wouldn't notice when my hair was long but I can see it on him so I know when its time.
I cut my hair every decade or so, whether it needs it or not.
My spouse goes every 4 weeks. He has an undercut and doesn't trust my shaky hands with the trimmer :D
I have long hair but I touch up my undercut every other week or so, i just do it myself
I shave my head in the shower every couple of days. Trim my beard once a week.
I gave up and just grew it out cos I would need one after like a month
Twice a year. I always go for a short cut and then grow it out until it annoys me.
I never cared about having a consistent look.

My hair grows fast enough that if I wanted it to stay a specific style it’d need cut probably more than once a month. However, I typically just change the way I part it as it grows. It doesn’t look too bad at any stage, though I basically just slowly transition from looking like a fed to looking like the guys in the fourth Harry Potter movie lol.
It takes about 3-4 months for it to go from 2in on top to being annoyingly long. Probably closer to 5 for it to be like getting in my mouth when the wind blows.
And hey you can have long hair and still look “groomed” btw, just got to figure out how to style it right
Edit: I have straight hair btw with some but not a lot of natural volume. If I had curly hair I could likely let it grow longer without feeling the need to cut it.

I cut my own hair every once a year for winter solstice. I shave my partner's undercut every week or two tho.
I cut my hair myself, whenever I want a change :) (once every few months)
