Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.

I loved how much their spelling kept devolving during that argument. It's hard to take someone seriously (especially an internet moderator) when they type like an 8 year old or someone who still types on a mid 2000s phone with a physical keypad.
I have a feeling like your picture of this person getting all worked up and typing increasingly unhinged is probably pretty much accurate to how that person appears.

It was a specific politics community that was just made to talk about politics without UniversalMonk. This was back in the days when the !politics@lemmy.world moderators, with their unerring instinct for making the worst decision possible on any given issue, were insisting that UniversalMonk hadn't done anything wrong and his honored place in the community needed to be preserved and the whole community who held a different opinion about him just didn't understand the bigger picture like they did.

I experienced the exact same thing (on a very small scale) from that dbzer0 community that was going apeshit banning anyone who gave them downvotes and talking about "anti AI trolls." It sure looked like they were batch-voting certain content, right away after it was posted from some handful of different accounts.
I never said anything about it at the time, just moved on with life, because it (a) sounds like I'm just whining about getting downvotes for my own stuff which was when I noticed it (b) would create accusations that I'm making it up (c) would create inter-instance drama (d) didn't even really continue within my awareness for any length of time I was aware of. But they definitely seemed like they were, at the very least, coordinating between a bunch of people to give out batches of votes to some content they wanted to manipulate in some way, and at worst, doing that but with sockpuppets.
It kind of makes sense. The same kind of mentality that even cares enough about this in the first place and feels entitled to cheat the system a little bit to make it kind-of-impossible to give their own content "incorrect" downvotes, would probably also feel entitled to cheat the system a little more to issue "correct" votes in sufficient numbers to make sure the voting totals for content they cared about were "correct" according to what they wanted.

Imposter account was created 3 days ago which is when my banning for serial downvoting really kicked in.

OP's post seems to really be laughing at "getting me" (even tho my bans are result of an imposter account by disgruntled ban-ee). I don't feel this is a "power tripping mod" sort of post.

I didn't say you were the one who created the imposter account. I said it was created by someone who was mad about being banned. It's not a conspiracy, it's a Lemmy user that is mad cuz he or she got banned from my community.

I don't know why .zip has banned you from their instance / comms... beyond the stated reason in the OP image.
Perhaps one of their mods or admins has decided that your actions do, in their view, constitute vote manipulation.
Maybe, they have some kind of ip based, or other identifying evidence that you and SilentNickel are the same person.
I don't know, I am not them, I am again, not a mod or admin of anything...

So to sum up: Someone was mad that I banned them for serial downvoting. So they created an imposter account, to do some shenanigans, and op posted a graphic that I've suddenly been banned (as a result of imposters shenanigans)
